Using the calendar The Calendar is a special folder of a room in which you and your co-workers can schedule and track events. You can use the calendar to publicize the date and time of events and post information on a particular meeting or event. When you create a room, QuickPlace automatically creates a calendar for the room. If you don't want a room to include a calendar, you can hide the calendar in that room. If you later decide you want that room to have a calendar, you can redisplay the calendar in that room. Viewing the calendar You can view the calendar in different formats by clicking one of the four icons at the top of the calendar page. ![]() You can broaden or narrow the scope of a calendar to show more or less calendar information. You can display two days' worth of information at a time, a week's worth of information, two week's worth of information, or one month's worth of information.
Moving backward or forward To move forward in the calendar, click the right arrow at the top of the calendar. If your view of the calendar shows two days at a time, clicking the right arrow moves the next two days into view. If your view of the calendar shows a week at a time, clicking the right arrow moves the next week into view, and so on. To move back in the calendar, click the left arrow at the top of the calendar. ![]() Hiding and redisplaying the calendar If you have manager access and don't want to use the calendar in a room, you can remove it from the table of contents in the room. Similarly, if you removed the calendar from a room and want it to reappear, you can add it back to the table of contents for the room.
Moving a calendar page You can move a calendar page from the calendar to the table of contents, a folder, or the Index in the current room or to another room.
