Using Pages

Pages are the basic building blocks of a place. A page can contain a combination of text, pictures, and attachments. QuickPlace creates some pages -- for example, the page that gives you instructions for navigating in a place -- automatically. You and other QuickPlace members create the remaining pages in your place.

QuickPlace authors can perform the following page-related tasks:

Create basic pages
Create calendar pages
Edit pages
Copy pages
Move pages
Delete pages
Copy, move, and delete multiple pages
Add file attachments
Insert an image in a page
Insert graphic text in a page
Create a link in a page you created with the built-in QuickPlace editor
Create a link page in the table of contents or in a folder
Regulate access to pages
Notify members about new and updated pages
Save the page in draft form
