Using forms
A form is a page that includes one or more areas in which the author must enter specific types of information. A page set up as an order form, for example, might include areas in which the author (the customer, in this case) enters his or her name, address, and phone number and specifies the product he or she wishes to buy. There are several types of forms; see the table below for form types and descriptions.
| Form | Description |
| Simple form | Lets you create a form that uses standard QuickPlace fields. You can sort pages created with a simple form by the fields in the form. |
| Imported HTML | Lets you create a form using the contents of an existing website page (a file with the extension .HTM or .HTML) on your computer. |
| Microsoft Office form | Lets you create a form using the contents of an existing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Excel document. |
