Viewing search results

You can examine the results of your search by:

  • Clicking a page title. When you click a page title, QuickPlace displays the contents of the page on the screen. If you have editing privileges for that page, you can then edit the page. Use this method to examine your search results when you think you know which page contains the information you're looking for.
  • Clicking QuickBrowse near the top of the QuickPlace window. When you click QuickBrowse, QuickPlace opens a second browser window and displays in that window the list of pages found in the search. Each time you click a page title in this second window, QuickPlace displays the contents of the page in the first window, letting you look at the list of pages and the contents of a single page in the list at the same time. If you have editing privileges for a page, you can then edit the page. Use the QuickBrowse feature when you have a long list of pages to examine and are not sure which pages contain the information you're looking for.
